On 15 May 2025, Dr. Umut Kolcuoğlu participated as a panelist at the IBA Law Firm Management Committee's conference, Building the Law Firm of the Future, held in Warsaw. He contributed to the session Strategies to Combat Margin Squeeze, sharing his insights on key approaches to navigating margin pressures in the legal industry.

On 15 April 2025, Maral Minasyan, together with Tolga Uşaklı, Business Development Manager of Allianz Sigorta, spoke at the workshop on “Companies’ Liabilities for Workplace Accidents and the Risk Assessment and Implementation of Insurance Policies”, organized by the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry. They discussed important topics including workplace accidents’ definition, employers’ rights and obligations, and employee training, as well as litigation processes, precedents, and risk analysis in industrial facilities.

We are pleased to announce that two deals our Firm has worked on have been awarded with the prestigious CEE Legal Matters Deal of the Year 2024 awards for Turkey - Petrol Ofisi's acquisition of British Petroleum's downstream business - and Albania - AYEN AS Energji's EUR 110 million syndicated loan. On 27 March 2025, we hosted a special roundtable event titled "English law or Turkish law? Which one to choose, when?" in collaboration with Hogan Lovells. Ben Hornan and Ardil Salem of Hogan Lovells, and Cihan Mercan discussed the comparative assessment of the choice of law and jurisdiction in both legal systems.
