We are pleased to announce the promotion of Neyzar Ünübol and Begüm Biçer İlikay to Partners.

Neyzar Ünübol has 18 years of experience in competition law, including nearly 12 years at the Turkish Competition Authority as a competition expert. Since joining Kolcuoğlu Demirkan Koçaklı in 2019, she has been leading the Firm’s competition law practice, advising clients on all aspects of competition law, from investigations to merger control and compliance.

Begüm Biçer İlikay joined Kolcuoğlu Demirkan Koçaklı in 2016. She has 13 years of extensive experience in dispute resolution, compliance, and internal investigations. Begüm advises and represents both domestic and international clients in complex investigations and subsequent legal proceedings. Her practice spans a broad range of litigation matters, including commercial and corporate disputes —with a particular focus on intricate intra-company conflicts and post-M&A disputes—, administrative and enforcement lawsuits, white-collar criminal proceedings, as well as execution and bankruptcy proceedings.
